Victory Over Ashes began as a blog to help myself and others cope with grief. I lost my dad to stage IV colon cancer on January 10, 2020, then on January 10, 2021 my mom was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer. She’s still fighting everyday.

What this season of suffering has taught me was that our God is so big. No weapon formed against Him may prosper, not cancer or even death. Through Jesus sacrifice on the cross He has given us eternal life with the Father. He’s conquered all things and through His mysterious grace, only He can bring Victory from the Ashes.
